Web Application Developer

Solidify is a small but growing cloud-based SaaS software company located in beautiful Glastonbury, CT. Our mission is to evolve the way B2B companies conduct business online and help them succeed in today’s competitive environment.  Our suite of software includes B2B ecommerce and configure-price-quote (CPQ) solutions.

We are looking for a Developer who has a strong aptitude to learn new technologies and strives in a fast-moving, collaborative environment.


  • Collaborate with management and other staff on establishing the best development approach to a project.
  • Take designs and functional specifications and translate into the optimal product and user experience.
  • Interface with project management, creative and other cross functional teams to ensure product meets both client and user needs.
  • Develop applications (desktop, mobile and tablet) on the Solidify platform.
  • Support projects throughout all phases of the software development life cycle.
  • Commit to constantly improving skills and staying current on developments and trends in the industry.
  • Proven ability to work both independently and in a group to drive project requirements and deliverables to completion in negotiated delivery timeframes.
  • Ability to clearly communicate ideas, thoughts, and opinions during requirements and design sessions with the development team.
  • Actively share knowledge with team members and across the company.


  • A solid understanding of object-oriented design and development.
  • 2 – 5 years of development experience using a modern object-oriented language. (C#, and the .Net framework).
  • Full SDLC experience and familiarity with both waterfall and agile development methodologies.
  • Experience with Restful Web API Services a plus.
  • Experience and demonstrable competence in working with HTML, CSS, & jQuery.
  • Demonstrable experience and understanding of frontend development with modern JavaScript frameworks.
  • Real world Angular JS (1.x) or Angular (2+) experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with unit testing methodologies and frameworks is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of database concepts.
  • Experience with Structure Query Language (SQL). T-SQL Preferred.
  • Experience with source control systems such as Git, TFS/VSTS, SVN required.
  • Strong problem solving / analytical skills.
  • Organization – Attention to detail.
